Modelling:The Son

The Son has had his ear updated to help with the flow of geometry and to also give me geometry to sculpt his ear with.

I have also updated the neck to create the muscle that is in the neck.

I have also been playing with the hair and i have layered image planes and sculpted geometry to try and find a happy middle groud that will give me the desired look that I am looking for.

This was the first attempt with just long image planes

I then went in and modelled a base for the hair then added extra image planes

Then I layered everything that I created

Modelling: The Father - Hair and Texture Tests

1. Getting the shape right

2.Adjusting the planes, extracting and adding, applying textures with alphas

3. For additional brushstrokes a crossing planes have been added. This process shall be added across the model in necessary places.
For now the test is completed, however, the textures might be changed and adjusted in the future (it all depends on how the overall model with applied textures will look like).

Modelling:The Son

After speaking to alan on how to make the son look younger and by lifting the and shifting geometry I am a lot happier with his face. I also turned his ears out so that you could see  them more and added the puffiness under his eyes .

Modelling:The Son

I have made adjustments to the overall structure of the face after feedback on the model. I have added the eye duct to the corners of the eyes changed the structure of the nose and cheeks also. I still think that the face is still lacking something in the translation from the drawn character to the model and I want to capture more of the character in the model.
